As we reflect on 2024, we are incredibly grateful for the impact we’ve been able to make in our community with your support. This year, the Delta Regional Child Advocacy Center has provided critical services to children and families in crisis, including:

  •  280 Forensic Interviews to give children a safe space to share their stories.

  •  1,100 Advocacy Sessions to guide families toward safety and healing.

  •  190 Trauma-Focused Therapy Sessions to help children recover and thrive.

  •  Prevention Education for 130 children to help stop abuse before it starts.

  • Free Training for law enforcement, prosecutors, victim advocates, child protective services, forensic medical personnel, and mental health clinicians to better protect children.

But as we look ahead to 2025, we face a significant challenge.

We’ve recently lost nearly $60,000 in funding, creating a gap that threatens our ability to provide these vital services. This funding shortfall comes at a time when the demand for our programs is growing. Next year, we anticipate serving even more children and families and have plans to:

  • Expand mental health services to meet an urgent need in our community.

  • Provide child abuse and neglect prevention programs for children, adults, and organizations.

  • Strengthen our support for children and families in crisis through advocacy, therapy, and education.
